Re: Local intel for the streets Between the Commons (BTC)

I've lived on Wakehurst and Kelmscott and have friends in most of the other streets BTC and here are my observations. Wakehurst Road houses are slightly wider than Kelmscott.  Kelmscott is quite narrow compared to the rest. Kelmscott has lovely Christmas lights ;) Wakehurst between Northcote and Gra...

Re: Short let needed in September/October

Hello, I have a 2 bed flat off Northcote Road I’m currently setting up for rental. It’s not on the market yet but if you’re interested, we can set up a time so I can show it to you.

(Is it possible to send DMs on this platform so I can share my contact info?)

Oops, just realised my reply came too late. Hope you all had fun and didn’t have any problems on the way back.

Re: Harry Styles concert - any tips on how to get there?

The tube to Wembley is the best way to get there. People go at different times so the crowd is spread out. BUT DON’T WAIT with the HUGE crowd to get on the tube on the way back. There is a rail station on the other side of the stadium with trains to Marylebone Station. Take that then change to the t...

Francis of London Tailors & Dry Cleaners 020 7738 0123 10 Lavender Hill, London SW11 5RW https://maps.app.goo.gl/gg49CBSiCEgiF3qy7?g_st=ic I’ve been going to this tailor for years. They’re more a tailor than a dry cleaner. I trust them with more complicated jobs and delicate jobs such as a bride...

Re: Good place for ear piercing?

It looks like you’ve made your decision but I wanted to add another place to the mix in case this thread is accessed by others in the future. Last month, I took my daughter to Kinky Ink, the tattoo parlour on Battersea Rise. They were brilliant. The master piercer is local, she went to one of the lo...

Re: Options for husband and sex

Hello FandF, can you share the information of your coach? Thanks 😊 I’ve been in a similar situation, although slightly different as I came to realise I’m asexual rather than losing interest in my husband. (I had never really wanted to have sex with any of my boyfriends and sadly the various sex ther...

Re: Fox and Friends

We had this same problem so my husband googled looking for solutions. Sounds gross but if you sprinkle adult male pee all over the garden, it wards them off. I thought my little toddler could help with this but my husband said it has to be urine from an adult male. It seemed to work for us. 😆

Re: What DO we want on Northcote Road???

The slab of meat outside Macellaio...don’t knock it till you try it. They have one of the best steaks in London (my husband was part of a steak club so we’ve eaten our fair share). It’s not on full display inside so it won’t be in your face while you’re eating. And the lunch special is a great deal ...

Re: What DO we want on Northcote Road???

We were completely underwhelmed by Made In Italy. The service tried to be amenable. We were offered ice cold water and a basket of free bread once we sat, but we had to ask for it twice before we got it. The food was totally tasteless. We got pizza and pasta and a few appetisers. They all had no tas...

Re: Help London flat too BIG!!

I agree with everyone here. Please do get a stager to style your flat. It looks too masculine. Go for something neutral or more feminine.
