Re: School holidays - divorced parents - advice?

Hi there! I'm also amicably separated and I agree with you that 3 weeks is too long. If it were a one off for a special occasion (a family wedding or something). I think I missed how old the kids are but unless they are close to school leaving age I would def stand your ground. Maybe negotiate 2 wee...

Re: Alderbrook?

Loads of people have already replied but I wanted to add I was very apprehensive about sending my daughter to school in general (she's the youngest in her reception class) never mind to Alderbrook. When I told people where we got in someone actually said "Is there really nothing else you can do...

Re: Book Club?

I had a feeling it might go the "start your own" route so I'm def open to that. If anyone's interested in starting a new one let me know & I'm happy to sort it out!

Hi all, My daughter is to start at Alderbrook in September and I don't really know much about the school. I wondered if any parents could give me their thoughts - I understand there has been a fair bit of change in the last 18 months? Also will there be any opportunity for the kids to meet other cla...

Re: Any mums interested in a writing group?

Hi ladies! I'd love to join you too. I co-wrote my first musical last year (about motherhood) but am looking to start something new.
