recommendation for a grief/bereavement counsellor pls

Can anyone recommend a grief/bereavement counsellor for a child?

The recent loss of a loved one has sent my 8yr old into a tailspin and I'm thinking she may benefit from speaking to someone other than family.

Thank you..

Re: Mums? What about dads?

Maybe it is your stereotype.. I see a jaunty man with some cowboy boots and long fashionable hair pushing a pram who happens to like pink and shopping.. Your belief pink is only for girls has marred your judgement. As for the gentleman and a van, he is a man, he has a van, he wears a hat and likes b...

Re: Do you want elite athletes looking after your children?

Not sure the poster was attempting to disparage other nannies they are just differentiating themselves. Re: Help with teaching kids how to ride a bike?

Yes, it does sound like a lovely idea for a parent. Although the poster has pointed out that there are some issues that will make it less than lovely and just wants a helping hand. The back of the 'wobbly bridge' park in Wandsworth common has that largish football pitch area.. That would be a fairly...

Re: Road rage from a local businessman

Nearly, if not all, the the poor cyclists that haven even killed in London this year have been killed by HGV's. Not sure that anyone is saying that the 4x4 driver handled the situation well, but I am pretty sure we shouldn't land all road deaths at his feet. Also, by linking this new story to this t...

Re: Road rage from a local businessman

Also, if you look in the reflection of the car the first person to get aggressive is the cyclist who lifts his bike up and threatens to throw it at the little angry man...

Re: Road rage from a local businessman

Davinao.. Great post.. I won't draw conclusions on someone's home/work life and wouldn't hope a business is ruined based on this. I would hope he is ashamed and has sought out the cyclist to apologise. My husband was once raced down the street by a man in a car whilst he was cycling..he also didn't ...
