Need someone to excavate/ remove some rubble from garden

Hi there.

Can anyone recommend someone to remove some rubble from the back garden?

I have a 4 * 6 *4 foot pit / pond that has been filled in with rubble which needs to be excavated....and the rubble removed.

I could hire a tip - but I need someone to do the labour.

Thanks.

Recommend a carpenter to build a custom bed?

Hi there. Can anyone recommend a carpenter or even a proficient handyman to build a custom bed?

This does not have to be a work of art - it needs to fit in a unique space but it is otherwise not that difficult.

Thank you.

Architect recommendation for small extension

Hi there. I am looking for an architect to design a small extension into the garden. Ideally, I'd like to find an architect with a bit of an artist's eye. We are going to need to be creative with trying to get some light into this extension. I have a builder and hence do not need a full-service firm...

Re: Virgin Media Fibre - Rubbish Service in SW11

I have actually probably called them 10 times in the past 12 months. Virgin have left me absolutely frothing at the mouth in frustration. It seems to me that this is a management decision - Fix ongoing issues vs bear the cost of: Increased call centre costs (because people are calling all the time) ...

Re: Any advice about plantar fasciitis please?

Time won't heal it. I had PF and it's a total nightmare. You have to work on that inflamed tissue. The key for me was breaking up all the adhesions. I am still not completely rid of it, but this is what I have found to be helpful. 1. The spiky ball. BEST. THING. EVER. It's hard and you roll it under...

Flushing or Replacing Radiators?

Hello - My radiators are not working correctly. I had a firm out who basically said they could be rebalanced in the interim but longer term they needed to be either drained/flushed or totally replaced. The rebalancing didn't really work and we are consequently freezing. I was not hugely impressed wi...

Re: Package delivered that I did not order - suspicious

Well, interestingly, though he wore a DPD hat, I am not sure he worked for DPD. He gave me a clipboard where he wanted me to sign my name. I flipped back a page to see if it looked legit - and there was a page of previous signatures. I gave a very reluctant scribble and he told me it had to be legib...

Re: Package delivered that I did not order - suspicious

Not sure how to edit my previous post, so apologies for the double post - but also there was no invoice in here. So, no invoice. No postage. Nothing but a sticker with my handwritten name on the outside. Wrapped in brown paper. Cheap headphones. And I didn't order it. I checked my Amazon account - n...

This had no invoice, either. Which is also weird.

Package delivered that I did not order - suspicious

I just had a man in a DPD hat knock and deliver (and made me sign for) a package. A package I didn't order. I opened it and it is a pair of cheap headphones. Hand addressed. No postage or any sort on it. Wrapped in brown paper. I am very, very suspicious of this. I quizzed this delivery guy - and he...
