Can anyone recommend a piano teacher for a (very rusty) adult? Ideally someone who could teach me at home in the evening. Thanks.

Re: What DO we want on Northcote Road???

Cluttons will be closing. It's a decent size shop floor so I wondered what will replace it?

Re: Petition for better playground facilities on Clapham Common

Hi, I just wondered whether there was any update on this? I was at the Alfriston Road playground this morning (very busy as always), and the sandpit has been removed, but with nothing to replace it and nothing to indicate whether it's temporary or permanent. The ground is still shocking, a mish mash...

Re: Petition for better playground facilities on Clapham Common

Great idea to start a petition. I contacted Lambeth the other week to ask about improved facilities. I think the Alfriston Rd playground in particular could be better. The ground surface is a mess, really uneven with lots of raised edges. I didn't get a very positive response from them, so like mumb...

Re: Bennerly House vs. MouseHouse

My daughter has just finished at Bennerley (having also been at Northcote House) and we were really pleased with it. The preschool teacher Eva is great and they've done lots of brilliant activities. A good mix of free play and some sessions to prepare them for school in the library. It's a nice big ...

Re: Did you get your first choice 2016 primary school?

I'd love to hear from anyone who got a place at Belleville/Honeywell - how far away are you? It's frustrating getting some information from the council today but having to wait for information on waiting lists.

Re: Advice on routine for newborn and child in all day nurse

Argh putting two to bed can be tricky to start with, but you'll get into the swing of things! Could you do a split feed at 5/6:30 (i.e. one boob or half a bottle at each)? I think that's a Gina suggestion actually. My babies couldn't always stretch to 3 hours, so I usually had to give them a small f...

Re: Empty baby wipe collection coming to an end!

Hi Kat, I used to drop off my empty wipe packets for you at Dandelion and now feel so bad throwing them in the bin! I was scouting around for another way to recycle them and saw that you can recycle empty baby food pouches through Terracycle (presumably that was the company you used for the wipe pac...

Can anyone recommend a seamstress? We are looking for someone to alter our bedroom curtains by replacing the current fabric on the front, but keeping the blackout lining. Thanks.
