Not another coffee shop in Teddington!

Sorry to rant but does Teddington High Street really need another coffee/deli shop!! Passed by what was Heels of Leather and noticed a poster on the front window to say it's opening up as 'the french tart' in March. I'm sure it will be lovely but seriously, does Teddington really need another coffee...

Money stolen at Play Inside Out

I heard from the owner of Play Inside Out that they had money stolen yesterday by 2 Africans using a distraction technique - one tried to make a £3 purchase with a £50 note and the other called one of the staff members away from the till... Just be careful everyone and watch your bags on the high st...

That's great news - thanks Annabel... there's such a ridiculous demand for primary schools in the Richmond area, that we need all the help we can get! I'd also heard there are plans for a new local secondary school in Richmond... i think i remember reading to open in Sept 2017... by that time our LO...

I think bicarbonate of soda is meant to get rid of the smell of sick - but not sure that's going to be any good on the kitchen floor.... unless you make into a paste, spread it over, leave for a few hours and then mop up...

I agree - it seems bonkers that there was so much uproar against Sainsbury's down the other end of the high street and not a peep about Morrisons... perhaps it's the difference of Teddington's high streets.... although so close, there does seem quite a divide between Broad Street and the High Street...

If it was the summer I'd suggest Hampton Outdoor Pool....
