My husband & I are thinking about taking the kids to Centre Parcs this half term... It's pretty pricey so I'd love to hear from anyone who's been before... is it worth it? Do the kids have a blast? Can Mum & Dads relax? Thank you!!
A million times better than armbands, which we found rubbish because they restrict arm movements.... Also tried a but found very bulky. The Swim Fin we feel is the best swimming aid by a long shot... and lots of fun for the little one too!!
Friends are coming over on Saturday and they have just told me that their little one has chicken pox (the spots appeared today). They don't seem too fussed regarding the contagiousness of it... if the spots appeared today will their little one no longer be contagious by Saturday? Other than my kids ...
My husband has already put his request in... He wants an axe!! Very strange & a little worrying... I did remind him we live in Teddington not Scandinavia!
I took my lo for her first swimming class today at Teddington Pool and it was a total waste of time!! So disappointing. No clear instructions, no organisation, no control… lots of sitting around in a circle and when we did swim no order. Some of the techniques were the same as another class I did wi...
My youngest is 11 months and we have her Christening coming up. She's too old for a traditional gown as she's on the move, but I'd quite like to get her a frilly/christening type dress to mark the occasion. Can anyone recommend where I might find one?
I'm just coming to the end of my MAT leave and due back to work on Tuesday. I've agreed to go back 3 days a week (2 days in the office and 1 day at home). I know I'm really lucky to have such flexibility but I'm feeling awfully depressed at the thought of going back. Wonder if anyone has any tips or...
What about paint pottery at the Happy Potter in Teddington or the Pottery Cafe in East Twickenham? Think there's also a Ceramics Cafe in Kew - perfect if the weather is nasty next week. Or a 'free' option is going to see the pets at Squires Garden Centre in Twickenham. And if the weathers good (fing...
We use a lady called Claire McCarthy (clairemccarthy@msn.com).
She works as a vet nurse at Alpha Vets on Stanley Road - and is very lovely and great with the kitty!
We popped along to Nando's the other day for lunch & it was fab!! Loads of space for the buggy, lots of highchairs and yummy chicken in an array of hotness!
Also - they do take out! Genius!
Has anyone else been - did you give it the thumbs up too?
