Help with a hitting toddler

My son is 14.5 months and even though I tell him off each time he hits me in the face, it doesn't seem to be working and I'm getting really upset about it. He has always been very independent and he has always refused help with anything, so he does get very frustrated and angry when he can't do some...

Re: How to get pregnant?

I had acupuncture along with Chinese herbs and used the ovulation sticks. Also took extra supplements and made hubby take extras such as zinc. I'm a reflexologist so I worked on my own feet too :) We tried for 7 months, after 5 months I started acupuncture and 2 months later- voila!! I saw Daniella ...

Second Steps Nursery

Hi,

I wondered if anyone has had any experience with Second Steps Nursery? If so, how would you rate them?

I'm looking at nurseries for my 1 year old son and wondered if they were any good.

Any comments good or bad are welcome!!!

Thanks

Suzie

Hi, I'm looking for a part time nanny/nanny share or childminder for my soon to be 11 month old boy, to start in March. I need someone for Tuesdays 12pm-9pm and every other Saturday 9.15-2.45pm and then one or two afternoons (preferably one being a Friday). Tuesdays would involve bathing and putting...

Re: Let down by NCT, advice needed

I also did Lulubaby's antenatal course in Jan this year and highly recommend them. We had 7 in my group and we all get really well and still meet up on a weekly basis. The course was pretty informative and I liked the fact that they bought specialists in to provide you with info.

Re: Diastasis recti-Separated abdominal muscles-help!

Eliza specialises in post natal exercises/pt including helping those with diastasis recti, and I believe she has had some excellent results. She's a local mum to Clapham.

Re: Antenatal exercise class

I can highly recommend reformer pilates classes at Pilates Junction, although it is an added expense on top of your gym membership. Plus I can highly recommend Eliza's booty barre classes at FyberFit gym. She adapts any exercises for you and she is an antenatal and postnatal PT so I always felt like...

Re: Wanted: Furniture for our new au pair

We have a large beige armchair that we were aiming to get rid off to make more room at home for our new baby. Its hardly been used but there is some wear and tear and would need to be cleaned as our cat currently uses it. It would look absolutely fine with a nice throw over it. Let me know if you wa...

Antenatal Classes in SW11

Hi, I'm about to book my antenatal classes for early 2014 and I can't decide which classes to go for. A friend of mine went to Lulubaby for her course and loved it! I do like the fact that their classes are spread out over 7 sessions of 2.5 hrs including a baby first aid course which would make 8 se...

Re: Engagement party venue

I agree about Radio Bar, it has fantastic outdoor seating and views across London but they have steep minimum spends and i also agree about the Blanchard room at the Hollywood Arms in Fulham. While I'm here I may as well plug my husbands place called Goat on Fulham Rd. They have a restaurant downsta...
