Specifically we are staying in Jardim da Meia Praia (if that means something to anyone!) Would love any tips from those who have holida...

Re: HELP nursery dilemmas! Sw11

You know your son best but I can share my experience with you. My daughter was in a nursery in Australia and then we moved to San Francisco when she was 18 months. We then moved to London when she was 3 and then moved out to Sussex when she was 4 (we are not moving for a long time now!) She has chan...

Re: Coming off Tramadol after c section

I think phasing it out sounds like a good idea. Then you know how tolerable the pain is as you reduce the dosage. I did the same thing with Tramadol after my C section and it worked a treat. Congratulations on the new baby too :)

Looking for temporary rental in September

We've had a delay on the completion of our house sale! Rather than stay in a hotel I thought I would check on here. Would anyone have a local property available for approximately 2 weeks from September 10th? Prefer close to Clapham/Battersea due to commute and nursery drop off. We are a family of 3....

Talk to me about teeth!

I'm about to use a dentist in this country for the first time (I've been here less than a year so my dental hygiene isn't questionable!). I have no idea about dental care in this country. I need a dentist for me (great teeth, no work required) my husband (terrible teeth. Loads of fillings required) ...

Sleep consultant recommendations for a 3 year old!!

Our 3.5 year old is a notoriously bad sleeper and over the years we have had intervention for sleep issues at pretty much each stage. To be frank, a lot comes down to how we manage her sleep. We don't do so well in this aspect of parenting! We are now in the situation where we have to sit in her roo...
