Re: Rutherford House School Resignations

I am also parent of a child in reception at RHS and I think people have delayed replying on this website until we had all of the facts. I can confirm points one and two from the original post. The head teacher Mrs Thompson announced her departure months ago, and it is purely for personal reasons as ...

Re: Experiences of Rutherford House

It’s a very personal choice what school you choose. We are fortunate that many of the local Balham/Tooting schools are doing well. Our daughter started in Sept at RHS and despite our apprehension about the school when we applied and we are delighted. Indeed when we applied in Dec last year the build...

Re: Phil and Ted v2 sport warning check recalls

I didn't not intend to stress anyone, but our buggy was purchased from leading uk on line retailer (don't want to name names) and I know many people buy second hand so you wouldn't know. So if anyone has an old sport version please check, it only takes two minutes and you can get a free hinge kit if...

Re: Come and make bug hotels on Clapham Common this Saturday

Sounds a lovely idea, but where do you get "lengths of bamboo, rushes or large grasses" required? :D

Re: Bugaboo bee - red and black - Wiseton Road

I can not recall exactly when but a few Saturdays ago I found a red bee in waitrose car park in balham and I handed it into customer services... Sorry just seen this...not sure if it was yours... Hope you found it. I just assumed some one got distracted putting kids in a car and forgot it.

Re: Shades for Phil & Teds

Sadly have to say uv Phil and ted shade is great, worth buying. Solves all the problems and they can still see out well. Check out eBay as generally cheaper. Nice problem to have after the dreadful weather at least.

Re: Can anyone recommend a loft conversion company?

We had Jason Turnbull from Total Lofts, they did an amazing job, indeed they have just done two more on our street. Based locally so worked long hours (no travel back to Essex or Surrey). The process was easy, 6 weeks and we had a toddler in the house at the time. Competitive quote, hard working. We...
