Re: Further Restrictions for Traffic on Wandsworth Bridge / Wandsworth Bridge Road - A Nightmare for Wandsworth Resident

What if every borough in London did this? Imagine what the A roads would be like? I see it as a violation of my freedom to move. Until such time that they invest in public transport, better bus, rail, links, making safer for women to walk alone at night, I think this is an ill thought out scheme. Do...

Re: massive £20/13% increase in Spencer Cricket fees for 2022

Another vote for Sinjun Grammarians CC on Trinity Fields. My 11yo has been playing a couple of seasons with them and is really enjoying it. They’re very inclusive and kids get good exposure to matches/training. They’re very reasonably priced too. I don’t have any experience of Spencer cricket except...

Re: Sports Party Providers

Thanks Gavin, he had his 5th party with you, run by the lovely Natalie. He wanted a ‘train your dragon’ and she themed it with that.

Sports Party Providers

Hi

Help! Can anyone recommend a sports party provider. I have a sports mad (and gaming fiend) soon-to-be 11 yo. He’s had footy parties in the past so I don’t want to do an exclusive footy party. A variety of outdoor games would be great.

If anyone knows of anyone, please let me know.

Thanks!

Re: Tutoring on top of private prep school

There were many children in our son's prep school that were being tutored for 11plus; and the state school children were too. I think it's pretty much the norm now in Wandsworth. It's just a question of when you start not if you start. Not everyone admits to it and if you can get to grips with the c...

Re: Appliance repair person?

Hi, Not sure if you’ve had your fridge seen to yet, if not please try Happy Appliances (link below). The freezer part of our fridge freezer very nearly packed up a couple of weeks ago in the height of the heatwave and Mikael at Happy Appliances managed to get someone (Ginko) out to us the following ...

Re: Great swimming classes for children

After much deliberation, I booked Kimberley’s swim school this Feb half term for my nine year old boy, who was scared of being in water. He’s on the spectrum and has had nightmares about school swimming lessons and we still have issues with hair washing at bath times. The pool environments also caus...

Key Found Tooting Common

Just spotted this key as walking in Tooting Bec Common this morning (Sat 29/6). Handed into the tennis hut. Not sure if the picture upholds?! The key has Carl F on it.
