Re: Settling in at nursery

Voice your concerns calmly with her key person. If a child is under one year then they should be following your home routine. As someone that has worked in a nursery, it's important to remember that there are a lot of other children expecting their needs to be met too, sometimes at exactly the same ...

Re: Chivalry Road Playground / Bolingbroke Academy

I just want to add, one of the 'little ones' I look after is four years old, and has also been cooped up in school. I can't not let her go to the park after school, just because she has a younger sister. Maybe parents and guardians need to keep a closer eye on their children and the behaviour that i...

Re: Chivalry Road Playground / Bolingbroke Academy

I completely agree with the OP. I've also had some bad run ins with teenagers from Bolingbroke Acadamy, while at the playground. But, that being said, I've also had to tell older, unaccompanied children from Belleville not to be so destructive and rude to the younger children. I understand that they...

Re: Chelsea tickets

Simply go to http://www.chelseafc.com/tickets

Also a great present for him would be the junior Chelsea member ship, it includes a magazine, a Chelsea bag etc. and isn't too highly priced.
I get it for my younger cousin every year an used to get it myself :)

Re: Views on Eveline Day Nursery

I've had no actual experience from Eveline but I did go for a show round, I was dressed in a hoody and a north face gilet at the time, and the deputy manager literally asked me "are you sure you can afford this?" Now personally I don't think that is something for them to be concerned about...

Re: New Play Cafe on Northcote Road?

Hi MidwifeMummy13, Please don't be so sceptical in your thinking, my thought begone this venture is because of a genuine want for one in the area myself and other nannies and mums I have spoken to seem to agree. Re: New Play Cafe on Northcote Road?

The only place I've found that tried and failed was Crumpet but I don't necessarily think that was down to it not being worth it but maybe them being too ambitious by having multiple branches? With the amount of interest, not just on nappy valley but by word of mouth I think it would be very popular...

New Play Cafe on Northcote Road?

Hi there, I am in the very early stages of opening a play cafe on Northcote road, as a nanny I have seen a real demand for this type of business. I was looking for some comments and opinions before i pursue it further; Would people be interested in it? What would you expect from it, i.e prices? food...
