Re: Rutherford House Selfish Parents

Hello RutherfordHouseParents person. If you have a genuine complaint maybe you should use a more genuine name. While I agree that there is an issue with parents parking in Tesco it’s not huge and your rant doesn’t do anything to help. Your rant also gets so much wrong that it’s hard to know where to...

Re: Balham Waitrose closing

It would be surprising. Buts it’s the worst Waitrose that I have ever shopped in so I wouldn’t miss it.

Re: Child-friendly restaurant near Polka theatre, Wimbledon

Alternatively, has anyone been to the Polka cafe? It's an easy option, although it'll probably be mobbed when we're going, as it's half-term.
DO NOT EAT AT THE POLKA!

It's a great theatre but the cafe is disappointing.

It's fine for adults, just not for kids. I'm just surprised it got a 12 certificate - the eye-gouging scene alone should have made it a 15.

It's not actually that good though o not a patch on Skyfall :D

Re: Spectre (latest James Bond film)

I really wouldn't advise showing Skyfall to kids either!

All the Daniel Craig Bond films are too violent for kids!

Re: Spectre (latest James Bond film)

I would say absolutely not. The eye gouging scene is the obvious issue but I would say that the sheer brutality of the fight scenes is more problematic. They are not fun, cartoonish fights that kids would enjoy, but extremely vicious and nasty scenes. I watched the film sitting next to a family who ...

Re: Advice on landlords notice period

You may have some basic rights beyond the one month notice. You might have an Assured Shorterm Tenancy for example (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Assured_shorthold_tenancy).

I would advise talking to someone more specialist such as Shelter or Citizens Advice.

Re: Online photo storage

Hi The best price (with only a quick look) is this Western Digital 1TB Drive from amazon (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Passport-1TB-Portable-Hard-Drive/dp/B007UOW818/) for £60. My preferred brand is Western Digital but other people may suggest others? If you post any specific issues we can try and help :)

Re: Online photo storage

Hi, If you think that you are that close to losing your laptop then your first priority is to buy a -portable- external hard drive and back up as much of your laptop as possible. (Online storage will take too long for the initial backup.) Backup your photos, but you also need to back up as much of y...

Re: Where to get my camera repaired?

Try Sendean Cameras in Soho. It's not local but they are a good repair shop and do free estimates. http://www.sendeancameras.co.uk From past experience if you have a compact camera (I'm assuming that you do as you have a built in flash) I'm not sure the repair will be worth. It might end up cheaper ...
