I'd also suggest Ayrton Windows - they're timber sash window replacement specialists. We had them replace a couple of draughty windows in our Victorian cottage & couldn't believe how much warmer and quieter it was afterwards. Nice guys doing the fitting too.

Bungalow for sale?

My mum is desperate to move to the area to be closer to us. She wants a bungalow with a garden and 2/3 bedrooms. Anyone know of someone selling who might want to deal direct rather than through estate agents?

Hi Caspar, actually we were recommended to replace rather than repair - you can spend almost as much on a replacement, and it still won't fit very well. We used a Company called Ayrton windows in Wandsworth & were very happy with the result.
