Re: Looking for packaging / sawdust for a lucky dip

Perhaps not what you are looking for, but when doing these I have always got my little shredder out and either got on top of my filing/shedding at the same time or shredded a load of newspaper. A little time consuming but works really well and you just bin it afterwards.

Hope that helps?

Re: Au pair network in Balham

Hi We live BTC and have a new French au pair arriving at the start of September. Her English isn't great at present so I think it would initially be great for her to meet any French au pairs out there to help her settle in. Also I am sure she would love to meet lots of other au pairs from everywhere...

Re: which buggy folds smallest for overhead locker on airpla

We have the BabyZen Yoyo- I got it about a year ago when BA managed to make my maclaren so forked out the £200 odd quid to allow me to replace it. We replaced it with the Yoyo and it has been brilliant! It isn't nearly as robust as my maclaren was, doesn't lie totally flat and can be a little bit ti...

I am looking for a good and reasonably priced paediatric first aid course for myself, my husband and new au pair to attend (not necessarily at the same time). Can anyone recommend one?

Thank you!

Large curry for a charity party?

I am considering hosting a "Big Curry" night for the Army Benevolent Fund's annual fundraiser in a few weeks but have a problem... I've never cooked a curry! I was wondering if anyone either fancied a little job cooking up a large vat of curry or perhaps had an Asian housekeeper who would ...

Re: Gathering for au pairs?

Hi Lucy

I have a new Finnish au pair (18) who I am sure would be keen. There was one organised last week which was a great success and mine went along and had a good time. She had literally just got off the plane though so was a little shell shocked!

Re: City lawyer looking to change to flexible working

It is slightly less certain than you are looking for, but I can highly recommend Lawyers on Demand - it was formerly part of BLp and it now off on its own. I have worked freelance with them for 3 years now doing both on site and remote working assignments. My longest role has been on site for a majo...
