Certified translator - French to English

Hi I am urgently looking for a certified translator to translate some certificates from French to English. These aren't transcripts, just certificates. Very short to translate. I could do it myself and it would take 10 mins but I have been told they need to be certified. Is there a certified French/...

Re: Private gynae/specialist to rule out breast cancer?

Thank you all for replying - much appreciated.

I have an appt next week at St George's so quicker than I thought. I will see what happens and take it from there.

Thanks Julian for the advice re: 2nd opinions. Yes, I am wary of misdiagnosis. Can have huge consequences ...

Thanks

Re: Private gynae/specialist to rule out breast cancer?

Oh dear ... Whiskey? Thanks for the warning!
The GP said I would get an appointment very quickly so hopefully I will. Good to know about the private places you listed. Thanks.

Private gynae/specialist to rule out breast cancer?

Have just been referred by my GP to St George's for breast screening (lump, pain etc). Hopefully it's only a scare and it'll turn out to be nothing serious. Has anyone on here been to St George's for that? My GP said they had a new specialist centre, one-stop clinic that would provide results on the...

Watermarking software

I'm wondering if any of you could advise on watermarking software and which one is the best and easiest to use. I want to watermark some pics before putting them on a blog but I haven't got a clue where to start. I can't use Photoshop but have heard I could do it that way. There seem to be lots of w...

Re: Architect recommendation pls!

Hi asmtwill
I have PMed you. Paul Draper does work a lot in the area but is a structural engineer, not an architect. Having an architect on board when you embark on such a large project.

make-up advisor/artist

Hi there Just wondering if anyone could recommend a make-up artist who gives make-up lessons? Sounds really silly but after years of not wearing make-up (don't particularly like it and don't have much time to put it on), I'm close to hitting the big 4-0 and realise that some mornings I'd look better...

party venue with bouncy castle

We're looking for a party venue with a bouncy castle where to hold a 4th birthday party. I remember seeing that Latchmere has got one but if I remember correctly it was next to the Go-Karts. Is there anywhere else around Clapham/Balham/Earlsfied? Ideally we would have liked a venue that would also p...

Re: Rude Mums

Completely agree with Hattie - there's a sign, and the drop is really very big at this particular spot. Really dangerous to take a buggy there, regardless of the time of day. Lifts in stations can be smelly but certainly never felt threatened in any of them, have taken them by myself with sling, in ...

Re: NCT nearly new sale - is it worth it?

Went to one a couple of years ago but none of the lovely clothes in excellent condition sold, apart from a couple of items. Have found Ebay a better bet for items from Jacadi or Petit Bateau - but far more time consuming. Like the previous poster I was slightly baffled by what sold and what didn't. ...

Re: looking for a NEW CLEANER BUT ONE THAT DOSE NOT STEAL TH

We also had a cleaner who watched television ... We would never have known had she not recorded morning telly on the HDD by mistake. Programme was started half an hour after her normal start time. This person appeared faultless until I had to swap days at work and she got the keys. Standards slipped...
