Re: New Play Cafe on Northcote Road?

Off topitc, but for the person who asked how Under the Greenwood Tree (Clapham Old Town) is doing, it seems to be going strong. Lovely selection of toys and books; good coffee and cakes; friendly staff. Only downside is I spend more money than I plan to when I'm there - books etc just too tempting.

Could anyone recommend any brickies/builders who could repoint the front of our house? We've been told that our house was repointed in a cement mortar which apparently is not ideal, should have been a lime mortar (apparently cement doesn't allow much movement if the weather shifts and doesn't let th...

Completely understand questions on authenticity of posts, am pretty sceptical myself of online forums. I've only ever used nappy valley for random searches for decorators, gardeners (found a terrific one!), roofing contractors etc but I was driven to post as saw the negative comment re Old Town nurs...

My son is now 2.5 and has been at the Baby Room in the Old Town since he was 7 months old (4 days a week). I have to say we couldn't have been happier with his childcare. The staff are caring, kind and really get to know the children and my son genuinely gets excited about going in there to see them...
