This is the situation I'm faced with, Almaecti. It's basically 7 or 8 an hour for my 2 boys in a share or 9/10 for my own nanny. It does make a massive difference over a year that kind of difference, but for the convenience of having my own nanny and not having to work around another family's needs ...

Depends how reduced the rates are. I know nannies need to make a living but it is effectively a share so the rate should reflect that. I've met nannies who charged 10 per hour before asking for 9 after which I personally don't think is fair for a share. The nanny won't have to pay childcare costs wh...
