Re: coffee morning mothers having a go at my son and me without realising I was in the room

Tough one. Suggest working closely with the school to ensure your son is getting the support that he requires but at the same time being mindful of the impact his behaviour could be having on other children. The other mums might be worried about the safety of their own children but if their friendsh...

Re: do panic attacks go away?

I was in a car accident a few years ago and for a few months experienced panic attacks. Recognising your stress triggers, developing some self-calming techniques and learning how to regulate your breathing should help.

Re: MIL allowed boyfriend we haven't met to take daughter to park

What does your husband think? Suggest you have a conversation with him, agree a united stance and as and when the storm settles speak to the MIL and explain your concerns and the risks associated with sending your child off with a stranger etc. She probably knows she has made an error of judgment on...

Re: Bad experience with Simon Yeo from Ninjakids

Agree with southoftheriver - Simon I don’t know you either but think your response was fair and balanced and I wouldn’t hesitate sending my children to your classes in the future.

Re: Disney Land Paris trip

Ps Sorry for the typos! I would also suggest you pack a spare Disney outfit / accessories for the children in case they want to dress as their favourite character. Zara and The Gap sell Micky and Minnie Mouse sweatshirts etc or you can buy them at the resort.

Re: Disney Land Paris trip

We went two years ago (when our children were 3 and 5) and are going again during February half-term. We opted to stay in an Airbnb and will be within walking distance (10-15mins) to Disneyland plus have cafes, restaurants and supermarkets on our doorstep. Chose this option as we wanted the flexibil...

Re: children's paddling pool Clapham Common close

Update -I have just been phoned by Lambeth Council about the paddling pool. After numerous emails (that nobody from the Council replied to!) plus me asking questions on the Lambeth Council Facebook site a very helpful member of staff informed me that the surface of the pool needs relevelling - it wi...

Re: Dying cancer patient refused her morphine, laughed at and then treated appallingly

I am so sorry for your loss and for the manner in which you and your wife were treated. In addition to internal hospital procedures the regulatory body for nurses (RCN) will also have a complaints procedure that you could consider looking into.

Re: Is this discrimination?

I am currently going through a similar situtaion at work. When I was on maternity leave my line manager suggested to me on various occasions that half my job role would be removed on my return to the office. I eventually contacted HR as I was concerned about redundancy etc and they were not aware of...

Re: Dogs vs children at Clapham Common Cafe?

DeborahB – you appear to have deliberately misinterpreted my post and have made several inflammatory comments with the sole aim of trying to justify your own (and in my view) rather pathetic arguments. To reiterate my 2 year old daughter was playing innocently near the bandstand – she did not approa...

Re: Dogs vs children at Clapham Common Cafe?

Please find below a response from Lambeth Council to an email that I sent earlier this week regarding the dogs near the bandstand. To cut a long story short my 2 year old daughter was terrorised by a dog last Friday afternoon - he was snarling viciously, straining on his lead and looked like he was ...
