I would never ask, unless we are very close friends. It would be a very uncomfortable situation if the process is not going well.

I can’t think anything worse than a WA group with other 11+ mums. Run away as far as you can!
Stay away from playground chats and do not trust half of what you are told.

We have BUPA and covered the full cost (which I remember was quite high, to be honest).

Sorry I don't know Alessandro Giardini, but he seems to be highly qualified (quick google search). I would go for him.

Dr Piers Daubeney was recommended to us by our gp almost two years ago.
We have been extremely pleased with him and I can highly recommend him.
Extremely professional and very kind and gentle. He explained everything with great details and in a clear way. Excellent doctor.
