Re: How much should I pay an au pair

Hi ladies,

There seems to be lots of knowledge on here regarding Au-Pairs, so I was just wondering where is the best place to find one? Any tips on how to pick someone who'll be good with the kids? I live in Fulham, looking for about 25 hours per week. Happy to pay a good rate.

You all have made really good points - I probably shouldn't have been so abrupt in my points! I am very close to going in, and the thought of men being on the ward while I'm trying to sleep is just really stressing me out, I feel like it should be all about the mums and babies after you give birth.....

I am about to have my 3rd child, first c section, in C&W. Having had two babies, one in 2010 and one in 2012 when men were not allowed stay, I am dreading the fact that they are now. Comments like snoring will be the least of your problems are completely not true, the babies might cry a bit, but...

Edam - very late reply on this, but was wondering if you still had that PM with info for the side extension could you send it on?! Would really appreciate it. Also - would anyone recommend to get an architect or not for it? I had one builder around who said the structural engineer could do the drawi...
