Recommendation for an amazing bilingual nanny

Hi We have been using the most amazing nanny for the last few months and as we're moving away, we don't need her anymore but I wanted to recommend her as she has been brilliant. I am quite a demanding person to work for normally so when it came to my little girl I thought I would struggle with a nan...

I have just heard back from the council. Works should be starting this Friday so fingers crossed, it should all be done before the New Year!

Re: Red train park closed?

I have written an email to the council to ask this question. It has been closed for quite a while now and I haven't seen anybody doing any maintenance work there when I have walked past. There isn't anywhere else close by so it seems unfair that it has now been closed for weeks rather than days. Per...

Re: Which estate agent should I use and what makes a good on

Firsttimersw11, I know what you mean about not wanting to offend people but I think it's in everybody's interest to be as open as possible. Everybody involved (seller and agent) want to sell for as much as possible and as quickly as possible. If the current fashion was for bright orange walls then I...

Re: Which estate agent should I use and what makes a good on

Thank you both for your advice. I have been looking at what's coming on the market and do think the price is right (we have achieved that price but things didn't work out). What I would love from an estate agent though is one that is honest and gives constructive feedback. Every agent that has come ...

Which estate agent should I use and what makes a good one?

Hi My property has been on the market for a few months now and though it has had offers, things have either fallen through or offers haven't been high enough. I am now thinking of changing estate agent but was wondering which is the best one to use? My current one is a local company and they are fri...

Afternoon tea recommendations -baby friendly and gluten free

I am looking to go for a nice afternoon tea to celebrate a birthday. There would be a 1 year old (likely to be a bit messy eating her food) and a gluten free person in the party. Does anybody have any recommendations for somewhere special but relaxed and also easy to get to from Clapham Junction?
