Hi, if you don’t mind travelling to Twickenham, I recommend Curries storage opposite the rugby stadium as they were much cheaper than Access in Balham where I previously had items stored. If you’re away then presumably the extra hike to Twickenham isn’t an issue as you won’t be accessing frequently?...

Re: Anyone recommend RELIABLE car service to Heathrow

I used Uber book ahead for the first time a few weeks ago and was impressed by the service, you receive immediate confirmation at the time of booking, updates on the day, the driver was early and very courteous.

Re: Heaver Garage - Please help

So sorry to hear of your dreadful experience. If this is the garage on Ritherdon Road, opposite the cafés, then I too had an unpleasant experience with them. Some years ago I also put my car in to have some work done and the main guy (Omar I think from memory) kept it for far too long, the problem w...

Re: new travel rules and PCR could anyone clarify?

Though have to say, it seemed a bit of a joke as I was coming from southern Spain with low virus levels into London with raging virus levels! 🙄

Re: new travel rules and PCR could anyone clarify?

Thanks Dudette and others. I found the relevant bit on the Gov site and you’re right, you can take the ‘Day 2’ test on day zero, one or two on arrival back into the UK. I did it earlier this month flying back in from Malaga and it was all surprisingly easy as they have a super speedy test centre at ...

I would be wary of the NHS guidelines on weight/obesity in children as there are so many other background factors to take into account such as genetic inheritance, bone density etc - at best their charts are a general guide only and should be used cautiously, sadly t...

Re: new travel rules and PCR could anyone clarify?

Yes but still not clear from govt site whether it must be taken ON day 2: “you must take a PCR test before the end of day 2” - that is, can it be taken on day 1 as soon as you arrive back? Anyone done this recently who can clarify?

Query: Still can’t delete a post!

Hello again. Please see the other post about this from last week as I tried to delete a ‘for sale’ post as per your instructions but the message came up that I cannot delete posts in that forum. Is that right?
Thanks

Re: Query: How to delete a post?

That’s great. Very useful to have this to e.g. delete ‘for sale’ posts when the item has gone.
Many thanks!

Query: How to delete a post?

Could anyone advise please as when I click the edit icon in one of my posts, I can’t see where one can delete it (as stated in the site’s FAQ). Could be me being unobservant but any help gratefully received! I have emailed the site a couple of times but no reply yet. Many thanks.
