Have i actually said that my children have done it before? No i havent so dont try and make them sound like scum. Yes i have let them do it once of twice but apologies if the choice becomes between letting them wee in an area that everyone else wees at or let a 6 yr old wet themselves and feel humil...

I dont see the big deal about innocent young children doing a wer against a tree in a playground, foxes wee all over playgrounds at night and your gardens! Also ive seen things from beer bottles/cans to needles in playgrounds so a bit of childrens wee is the least of your worries!

That big tree in the train park everyone knows is the wee tree! Children cant hold it as long as adults and if your out for the day and they are too old for the potty what else are they going to do?! I would rather a wee area in each playground than children weeing everywhere. Its been the wee tree ...

Have some playdates at your house first, do an easy tea and children entertain each other...maybe get parent to come over 30 min before home time for a cup of tea so you can get to know them. Your child will love going to someone elses house with out you (no offence) your child will feel so grown up...

By the age of 4 they should be fine getting on and off the loo and wiping their wees for sure! A lot of children wont want to poo at school so will hold it till they get home. Maybe encourage your child to give it a go at doing everything herself and then you check.

Ive been a nanny for 10 years I have weaned many babies, some from 4 months and some from 6 months. If you feel your child is ready and can stomach it then start the process! You know your child you will know if he or she is ready.
