Size of birthday party in Year 1

Morning all, hoping you can help with some quick advice. In reception we invited the whole class, but what's the norm for year 1 going forward? Do people tend to go the whole hog again or have a smaller party size with friends (+siblings) Thank you in advance :)

Re: Husband wants to go on holiday on his own

I think you are right to feel concerned, and I can understand how this has quickly built up into the rage you talk about. However you will need to be careful how you tackle this so that you can all come out of this with the feeling of a great result, which is what this is. 6 months garden leave over...

iCandy strawberry (£150) Maxi Cosi cabriofix (£25)

Quick sale - happy to combine the two for a discounted price. iCandy has all the bits with it, carry cot, seat, muff, car-seat adaptors. Maxi cosi cabriofix has adapters for icandy and one other brand (bugaboo I think, we didn't use these - but I can check if anyone needs to find out). No accidents,...

Re: Did you get your first choice primary?

It's great that Wandsworth distances have been confirmed - but does anyone know where to access Lambeth too? I'm applying in Jan and live on the Lambeth/Wandsworth border, so really keen to see what this years distances are at first offer level.

Re: Is it worth doing NCT to meet other future mums?

Yes! I found the classes themselves a little boring (you just go through the motions, maybe picking up one or two tricks) but it is the friendship and support you are really buying into. We had 8 couples in ours, the babies are now coming up to 3 years old and we are still going strong as a group! M...

In Lambeth but hoping for Wandsworth primary - experience?

Hoping for some advice based on experience or knowledge please. I live on the border of Lambeth, but my closest primary school is in Wandsworth which I have visited and liked. I know admission criteria varies by school, but the highest qualifying factor at my level (after siblings) for this school i...

Re: Half naked man in woman's clothes right or wrong?

I've seen her round for years and she always draws attention which, like others have said, seems to be what she craves. My mum was pushing DS in buggy last summer, when a lorry came round a bit quick to the zebra crossing and didn't appear to be slowing down. She stepped in with a really gruff voice...

Honeywell Drop off and Pick up times

Please can anyone advise what the official drop off and pick up times are for Honeywell infant school. Is it a very small window just before the start time? DS is only 2yrs but thinking ahead to when that time comes. To get anything approved by work I need to plan well in advance! If we even get in ...
