Re: A shave between the legs between the Commons

"Strip" on Fulham Road (near Sydney Street) does female & male waxing. Their website is www.stripwaxbar.com
They have a few shops around SW London but I'm not sure if they have one in SW11. Hope that helps!

Re: **Help!** ADHD SON LOOKING FOR SCHOOL

Hi moo moo 2, I understand your concerns but in order to get a feel for the kind of support the local private secondary schools can offer, I would visit and speak to the schools rather than rely on what you have been told informally. I don't have any experience of a child with ADHD but with 4 childr...

Re: My Student Son's Landlord in US Claims Rent Payment Not Received- advice Please!

Gosh that's a lot of money to go missing and it doesn't sound like a "mistake"! All of the tenants should definitely report the missing cheques and cash to the local police and to the Uni. I hope that they can help and sort it out for your son (and you!) quickly and easily - good luck :D

Re: My Student Son's Landlord in US Claims Rent Payment Not Received- advice Please!

Hi Denwand, I'm sure that your son will get good advice and support from his Uni, but just in case they haven't mentioned it to him, he should definitely make a police report about the money going missing either from the mailbox at his house or in the post. I lived in the States for a few years and ...

Re: rowing club for Womens beginners

Hi! Both Thames Rowing Club (www.thamesrc.co.uk) and Barn Elms Rowing (details on Wandsworth Council website) run rowing courses for beginners. It's a fantastic sport and the rowing community in Putney is really, really friendly. Hope that helps!

Re: General election - vote for staying in EU?

Re: Bedrooom to Bathroom conversion

Hi this_is_cat I'm not a builder, but I was basing my estimate on work that we did in the past. I sourced the tiles, the sanitary ware, etc which saved some money. I'm sure that it could cost £30k to create an ensuite and of course it does depend on the builder that you use, the state of the bedroom...

Re: Bedrooom to Bathroom conversion

Hi- I would highly recommend Rupert at RedBox builders www.redboxlondon.com (based in Fulham but they do a lot of work around SW London. They are also Which Trusted Traders). I have recommended them before, on another thread, when someone was looking for a builder for a mid-sized project and this is...

Re: Council calls for unity in wake of Westminster attack

WC posted a message asking people to come together and show solidarity in the face of adversity. Should the message have referred to "faith communities"? Maybe, maybe not. The overwhelming message was positive: solidarity in the face of terrorism and tragedy. Please remember that people we...

Re: When does a cleaner become an employee?

Have a look at this website and hopefully it can help you figure out whether your cleaner/housekeeper should be classed, for tax purposes, as self employed or employed:-

Re: Freehold/Leasehold enquiry

There is an article on moneysavingexpert.com called "Buying your Freehold" (sorry I can't seem to attach a link to the article for some reason!) but there is a cost calculator in the article which helps give you a "rough" idea of the cost of buying your freehold. It may give you ...
