Dear all, I desperately need to find a hall to hire for a few hours each week. Ideally a sports hall but anything largish (ie bigger than a squash court) would do. its a bit of a tricky situation. I think there is a tenedency to over-analyse the "why". In my experience men (of which i am a member) are invariably uncomplicated when it comes to such things. He doesnt feel great about something and is hunting for someone to make him feel like a million ...

Quite right. To be clear, anywhere between the commons or nearby (eg between lavender hill and broomwood road).

The council have a waiting list, but prioritise their own tenants and leaseholders. I am very low down on the pecking order I'm afraid.
