Re: Two or three year gap between siblings?

I note the concern over GCSEs and A-levels combining. I’ll have that too but the positive is that you at least have a year off in between to have some less stressful breaks - if you have one after the other it is exams every year in the household. As ever I suspect there’s no right or wrong here - t...

Refurb of bifold doors

We’ve got some modern unbranded bifold doors in need of a bit of TLC (we didn’t put them in) - any recommendations for someone who can service them/help with wonky handles gratefully received. We are Clapham Common. Thanks!

Re: Luggage repair service in SW London?

Hi / it’s actually quite simple to replace yourself - I ordered a part online from Aldridges and followed an online guide (bizarrely samsonite Australia I think but there’s a few out there) and it worked just fine.

Re: Is a central WA group a good idea to add 11+ progress of our children?

No waaaay. We put info like open days, registration cut-offs etc. on an existing class WhatsApp but certainly not how the kids were faring. I’d keep the rest of it low key and 1:1 with your friend if you have queries around process or if there’s anything she thinks you specifically need to know. It ...

Re: Wanted: Booster car seat

Hi - I’ve got 2 of the little booster ones with no back to attach with car seatbelt going spare. Used without incident. Very happy to give them to a good home (charity shops will not accept). Re: Eveline Day School

Hi there - I have 2 kids there now in KS2 and am very happy with it.  Small and nurturing.  Family run.  Class size small which has many advantages but means sports can suffer (emphasis on running and athletics, netball is strong).  Drama and music are strong.  They turn out well-rounded confident k...

Re: The White House and Eveline Day School - any experiences?

Hi. Two good schools to choose between! I have 2 boys at EDS and we are very happy with the school. It's a lot bigger at the bottom end than towards the top and the school is upping its offering as it expands. Optional clubs increase as the children get older. Downside is team sports (due to size) b...
