Re: CROSSRAIL 2 VENTILATION SHAFT (AGAIN)

I am truly shocked to see only 644 people have voted on the Wandsworth democracy link! We only have until January, please spread the word.

Re: CROSSRAIL 2 VENTILATION SHAFT (AGAIN)

Apologies if this has already been posted, the two links I have seen on this thread are imperative and the proper channels to be used while voting. You can also vote your opinion here www.balhamortooting.org.uk Dan Watkins made up this survey to show Tfl and the majority of Tooting residents have vo...

Re: Bolingbroke Academy, thoughts?

I have been to the open day and was impressed with the wonderful diversity and the general feel good atmosphere of the school. It is good to know pay feeing schools are not the be all and end all of options for local parents. Facilities and clubs seem very good. I spoke to a few pupils and grilled t...

Re: Questions about Childminders

I am extremely sorry, I stand corrected. I must say I have not come across many childminders charging £60 per day, it is usually around £70 - £90 per day. I saw a few cheap childminders but would absolutely not send my children there. You can have a look on the Wandsworth Family Info service where c...

Re: Questions about Childminders

I was referring to your previous challenges posted on this site to live within a very low budget that you expect Au-pairs to do.

Re: Stammering

Don't listen to your nursery.

Speak to your GP or alternatively we have used speech and language service by self-referral, which many accept. If you need any details of a local trustworthy therapist, I know of several. You're welcome to email me.

Re: Questions about Childminders

You are confused because? We have had several wonderful au-pairs that we still regularly as they are invited yearly to visit from abroad and we support in any way we can (they are considered family) and have also used childminders and have depended on them heavily. We understand it is not their faul...

Re: Questions about Childminders

If I were a child carer I would be loathe to commit to a person who rants about childcare costs of au-pairs on here.

Re: Bolingbroke Academy, thoughts?

onthecommon - thank you for taking the time to write this, it is encouraging to hear from parents at the school and to hear about the pupil survey, if the children are happy well, that is a huge factor for me. We are from a feeder school too. I am concerned with the behavior of children I have seen ...

Re: Bolingbroke Academy, thoughts?

Phoenix - I understand your point however I was startled to read the Google review and due to having heard similar points from others I decided to post it and ask parents and their children how their experiences are going. As a parent I have a right to investigate what was a parents review, a parent...

Re: Bolingbroke Academy, thoughts?

Thank you all for contributing. I see that my particular concerns are echoed by others and we are pondering the same issues. It seems fantastic to have a proper local community school on our doorstep and I shall be attending an open evening. I do like the fact that parents are fiercely protective of...
