Re: INNOCENT MOTHER OF 3 FACING CRIMINAL CHARGES FROM ABUSIVE HUSBAND

Classic tactic of abusers to frame themselves as victims and use the courts. What language does she speak? Could southall black sisters help? Also contact Rachel horman DV expert solicitor she will sign post you. Call rights for women and centre for women’s justice. This is appalling given the fact...

Re: INNOCENT MOTHER OF 3 FACING CRIMINAL CHARGES FROM ABUSIVE HUSBAND

I can completely empathise. Her story is by no means unique, unfortunately, and a friend is going through something very similar with her ex husband, albeit in Northern Ireland rather than London. Has your friend been in contact with her MP? That is a good place to start, as they can put complaints...

Re: INNOCENT MOTHER OF 3 FACING CRIMINAL CHARGES FROM ABUSIVE HUSBAND

Legal aid is available for some, but not all, criminal matters. Eligibility depends on a number of factors, including the person's means and how serious the case is. See https://www.gov.uk/guidance/work-out-who-qualifies-for-criminal-legal-aid#overview Your friend should try to see a solicitor who ...

INNOCENT MOTHER OF 3 FACING CRIMINAL CHARGES FROM ABUSIVE HUSBAND

This is a last resort, a plea for any help/guidance.  I have a friend who I, along with others, have been supporting after she fled the family home with her children 2 years ago after being attacked by her husband and after suffering under his coercive control for nigh on 20 years.  This is a man w...

Re: Educational psychologist advice

Hello there I was recommended and have just seen a lovely man called Ged Balmer. He is based in Chislehurst where the consultation took place in his home. I went there with my 15 year old son. Cost was £450 for the assessment in the morning and he writes up the report in the afternoon. He was an Ed ...

Re: Bolingbroke Academy, thoughts?

I'm afraid as my child is in Year 10 I only have an insight into the popularity etc of the enrichments of that specific year group. Perhaps some Year 7 parents might have an insight for the younger year groups. Sorry not to have been of more help.

Re: Bolingbroke Academy, thoughts?

Hi Betsyboop the best place for details on the clubs etc at BBA is to go to the website, go to the 'Life at School' section and click on 'Enrichments' to see the full range :-)

Re: Bolingbroke Academy, thoughts?

I would just like to respond to the comment by atbattersea that Bolingbroke Academy is the preserve of the wealthy. By their own admission they state they do not know the school because if they did they would know that this is far from the truth. Bolingbroke is a true comprehensive school affording ...
