Re: Nightingale Lane Safety/Audley Retirement Village Petition!

Couldn't agree more - how the council approved the plans and paid to move the bus stop, remove the postbox, allow the humongous portacabin block creeping into the road and close down the footpath - all for a private retirement village is beyond me! Incredibly dangerous on such a busy road with the s...

Brand new luxury artificial turf

Morning NV, A friend is selling a roll of brand new artificial turf. It's a pretty large roll and would be perfect for roof terraces or a patch of your garden. It was pretty expensive and they're now selling for a bargain price! You can see their original gumtree advert here or feel free to contact ...

Re: My wonderful cleaner is looking for work

Thanks to Blueberry's post, I contacted Dany about cleaning. She introduced me to a friend of hers who cleans in my area (Nightingale triangle). We only had first clean last week but everything was spotless! They both came round beforehand at the weekend to see the property, recommend what products ...

Re: Place to stay in Rome

Another vote for Hotel d'Inghilterra! Super central and so easy to find your way around. Great service and right by Spanish Steps. Enjoy! The most amazing city.

Can you recommend your ISP? Sick of Virgin's issues!

Finally sick of Virgin's patchy rubbish service and looking for a new internet service provider. Currently paying for 100mb but receiving 20mb on a good day. Don't mind paying for TV service too, currently paying around £60pm for fibre broadband and TV package. The only 'must have' for us is fast, c...

Re: Yoga private sessions

Hi oab! My friend recently completed her yoga teacher training in India. She's done some private sessions for my fiance and I and tailors them for us as we're both runners (he's a marathon runner) but beginners. She's fab and can tailor the session to whatever you want to achieve from it. She's got ...

Re: Virgin Media Fibre - Rubbish Service in SW11

We are near the top (the common end) of Nightingale Lane and ours has also been rubbish! Last time we called they said they were doing some "improvements" which would be done by the end of the week but I'm pretty sure that was a week and a half ago and its still awful. We pay for 40mb I th...

Re: Norfolk - advice on areas

Sheringham is great - where my mum always used to take my sister, brother and I for all holidays. Lots of stuff to do geared towards kids and there's even a steam train that runs between Sheringham and Holt which we always loved. There's a big indoor swimming pool with a couple of slides, lots of sh...

Re: Snoring consultant

I have a serious snorer too - think his is genetic as his mum snores the house down and his aunt has to use the sleep apnoea device. The only thing that works for me is silicone ear plugs at the moment but I do have to make sure I fall asleep first. There's a new device that has been developed which...

Re: Hypocritical labour

Hi As a voter I wobble between a right wing labour supporter and a left wing tory. I'm really really struggling with the latest labour independent school scandal in which Chakrabarti is sending her son to Dulwich. https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2016/oct/10/shami-chakrabarti-education-sys...

Re: Mobile Phone Carrier Nightingale Triangle

I live on Nightingale lane - I'm with Three and rarely have issues. Would highly recommend for their Feel at Home service alone, you can use your normal allowance when abroad in specific countries. Good customer service and reasonably quick to sort any issues out.
