Interior designer for office

Hi all,
Any one have any recommendations for an interior designer for an office? It’s a one room project, with a modest budget. The office is in central London and mainly requires a lot of standalone storage.
Many thanks,
M

Children’s swimming instructor?

Hi, Any children’s swimming instructors available last minute for lessons either this week or next? 3yo, nil previous regular lessons but enjoys splashing about on holidays, has done a week of Kimberley’s swim clinics once and loved it. We’re based in Clapham (closest pool at Clapham leisure centre)...

Emergency childcare options?

Hello, For circumstances beyond her control, our nanny may need to take last minute leave for a couple of weeks in the next few weeks/months. Sitters.co.uk don’t do nursery drop-offs/pick-ups, so not an option unfortunately. Has anyone used an agency for emergency childcare or know one I could conta...

Re: Rats on Clapham Common!

Err the parsley song, perhaps your message doesn't translate well and I've misunderstood, but I don't know what I've done to deserve such a condescending tone (full-time working mum of two, with, yes, a nanny - apologies for not updating my username). As per my original post, I hadn't seen rats runn...

Rats on Clapham Common!

Our nanny, whilst out with our toddler this afternoon on the Common, saw two fat rats running across the path into the leaves and back again. She took a video which I've tried (and failed) to attach. This was on the south side of the Common. Just a word of warning to anyone playing in the leaves to ...

Re: Sleep consultant wanted for 16 month old

Hi freshairmum, any luck with a sleep consultant? At my wits end with my two-year-old who wakes up at least twice in the night, often followed by wailing if I don't agree to stay with him in his room overnight... Looked up "calm and bright" as recommended but appears to be only telephone c...

Re: Paying for nanny parking?

Will she be using the car to take your little one for any activities, or would she be happy to do so if needed in the future? If so, I would split the cost of the permit. Our nanny doesn't drive, so for certain activities they need to take the bus, the cost of which we obviously cover. I would also ...

Re: Advice for 2 year old party please!

Hi, Another option would be hiring a local hall? For our son's 1st birthday (which was mostly attended by 2yo children and their parents, along with a handful of other 1yr olds), we rented a local church hall and hired soft play equipment including a giant ball pit/slides etc, and had pre-prepared p...
