family activities...?

am slowly losing the will.. My husband and i have a rather fab 14month old, and im now stepmum to his two teen/tween daughters from a previous marriage. oh pie81, what are your thoughts on latchmere? He swims at alderbrooke school in balham and seems to love it, but have heard mixed reviews re latchmere.

Hartbeeps is second only to tin pan annie, so shall have new nanny take him there lots.

baby activities over summer

we have a 6month old son and the new nanny is just starting. we're away for only 3weeks this summer, but all of his activities (swimming, monkey music etc) have stopped!
any suggestions for things she can do with him over summer until the start of term in septmeber? we are just off the Northcote road
