Nanny contract and pay

Hello mums, I have never used an after school nanny before. I have found a student who will be taking my children for a min of 6hrs a week after school. She wants £11 an hr. How do I do this? Do I have a contract? Do I have to pay NI and taxes? I don't know where to start. I want to do it correctly ...

My sister in law is a local Thermomix consultant, so she could come and give you a free demonstration to show you how it works. It's a big investment but they're pretty amazing pieces of kit.
