Re: For sale: Trikidoo tricycle

Hi Maria Thanks for your message. I'm afraid I have sold the trike already. For your information though I would say that the main advantage of a trike is it's stability so you don't need to lean it against anything when you stop and get off - so the children are safe on the back. Also I liked the fa...

Re: staying married for the kids?

Hi Confused mummy Your situation sounds heartbreaking, I really feel for you. I would agree with recommendations for counselling for yourself. Not to make your marriage work but to work out what you want to do. It takes two people to make a marriage work and if your husband is being emotionally abus...

Re: Does anyone have a Trikidoo trike?

Oh, and does it take long to adjust to the different way of riding? I was a bit wobbly when I tried it out but am hoping it won't take long to get used to it.

Re: Duvet Covers

Have you tried ikea? You will have to check the size is ok as their sizes aren't standard but they are very reasonably priced and have some nice designs.

Re: Solicitor/surveyor for new house purchase

I used Ros Widgery at Hanne & Co (www.hanne.co.uk/our-people/659-2/) who was brilliant and was recommended to me by a friend. Very efficient, no extra unnecessary charges and answers emails very quickly. Would definitely use her again.

Re: Local removal company?

I used Gentleman & a Van based on the recommendation here and I have to agree - they were brilliant. I paid for them to do packing and they were still a better price than some of the other ones. The removal men were very polite and helpful - nothing was too much problem for them. I would definit...

Re: Cheap birthday party venues near Earlsfield?

Thanks H.

Yes, I thought about that too but they can't guarantee me a place in case they get a bigger party - and therefore of course more money! Have put my name down but we might get kicked out at the last minute if they get a better booking so need a back up plan...

Cheap birthday party venues near Earlsfield?

Hi, I'm looking for some ideas for birthday party venues. My son will soon be three and we don't have the room for a party in our tiny flat but I don't want to hire an enormous party venue either. Do you know of any places where we can have a small celebration - say about 5 or so children and mother...

Re: do I kick him out?

"Do these things ever sort themselves out or is he always going to be unfaithful?" They won't sort themselves out by doing nothing. If he is serially unfaithful and denies it then he is not only lying to you he is also being disrespectful to you AND your children. The trouble is that while...

Re: Anxiety and Depression

Hi mummyhelp I didn't mean to imply that CBT was necessarily better than medication. I was so desperate when I went to the doctor that I would have done anything to make the panic better and actually I was quite disappointed that he didn't just give me a pill to make it all go away. But one o...

Re: Anxiety and Depression

Hi mummyhelp, I had panic attacks for a while and I found it really debilitating. I was very lucky to see a sympathetic doctor who recommended CBT counselling. I went privately as I wanted to see someone quickly but you can be referred by your GP for free counselling if you are happy to wait longer ...
