Our Macan was broken into overnight on 28-29 March when parked in Granard Road. Someone managed to access the car without the key (locked away safely before anyone comments) and clearly tried to disable the car management system by messing with the fuses but thankfully unsuccessfully.  We were alert...

I agree with Southfieldsmum. When I left the UK to work in Europe (admittedly not as geographically far as the US but in the days before Zoom/Skype) my family were not happy - comments about never seeing me again etc but you have to live your own life, just as your relatives have done for themselves...

I live by Wandsworth Common and if the wind is coming from the West then, as described in other posts, the flight path to Heathrow runs in a band roughly from the Thames down to Balham.  If from the East then the approach is over Windsor so we don't see or hear the aircraft.  BTW the first plane at ...

Could it be the same white Ferrari which emerges from Granard Road every morning at around 8.15am to roar up Bolingbroke Grove? How many white Ferraris are there in SW11?? Totally agree re a one-way system - these Victorian streets were never designed for bumper-to-bumper parked cars and high levels...
