Do electric cars work for you in practice especially for longer journeys?

We are almost at the point of committing to buying an electric car and would love any feedback from anyone who has had one for a while and does both local and longer trips. Mostly looking for insight into if it actually works for you. I can’t have a charging point outside the house, so I guess I wil...

Re: Decking needs a power wash, help!

Thank you very much! Have never heard of it. Much better than having to store something I probably won't use very often.

sash windpws need key operated locks for insurance?

Wallpaper ideas please.

Does anyone have any suggestions for where to go to look at wallpapers. I know that practically, painted walls are better for families but I am a bit bored of painted walls everywhere and was thinking about the occasional roll of paper, maybe for the downstairs cloakroom and our bedroom? Have had a ...

Re: Decent dinner party wine?

But, if you cant get there, I usually offer Malbec for red and White Burgundy for white with Sauternes for pudding wine (if you are going that far!) these will be great with most things. Waitrose is also very good and has a gre...

People taking bike shed spaces who don't cycle just store.

Could anyone explain to me how allocation of a space in the cycle shed on the street works? I'm assuming that it is first come fist served but do people lose their spaces if they aren't actively using their bikes? And how are the bike sheds policed? For example there are bikes being stored (they are...

Re: Fox in through bedroom window last night

Has this been reported to the council? I am confused as to why they don't do anything about the fox infestation? Our household experience is limited to bin mess but this is another level and potentially very dangerous. Glad that everyone involved is OK.
