Is BIAP as good as they say for nails?

Has anyone on this site used BIAP on their nails. What's best for deterring moths?

Have just found my third jumper in as many weeks full of holes. Has never been a problem until now. Have been googling and seen that lavender bags and cedar balls are both good things to use. Should I be doing anything else? Very grateful for any help.
