Re: Alleyn's, JAPS, & Dulwich College

Thank you ladies for your messages and apologies for the late response. Really helpful and informative advice, and goes with my instincts in terms of not moving schools just yet.

Re: Burglaries Between the Commons

As a mum at home with very young children It's really worrying to hear about burglars targeting houses during the day. A friend was also recently targeted on Leathwaite and there is a trick the burglars used to check if anyone was at home - they moved something in front of the door and watched to se...

Re: Childcare Vouchers taken after my child left the nursery!

Thanks Tilly, really helpful advice.

I suppose I should start by naming the nursery - Kids Unlimited in Wandsworth. I've had previous problems with them over charging. In fact, in addition to the childcare vouchers they still owe me a refund on an incorrect invoice!

Alleyn's, JAPS, & Dulwich College

Hi Everyone, Does anyone have children at these schools and how do they compare to the Clapham Schools? Namely, Parkgate House, Broomwood Hall, Eaton House .... It's decision time for us in terms of schools, and we're not sure whether to go for the commute to Dulwich - where the schools all have won...

Childcare Vouchers taken after my child left the nursery!

Hi Everyone, My daughter changed nursery last December, just before her little brother was born. In the busy time that followed I forgot to cancel her childcare vouchers, and they continued going to her last nursery. They appear to have used January and February's vouchers, which I would like to put...

Lost at Bandstand! Pink Scooter with Green Brake

Hello, We think we have left our pink mini micro scooter at the gated grass area for mums and children, near the bandstand on Clapham Common. It's very distinctive as it has a green brake and a strawberry bell. It also has a pink name sticker with my daughter's name - initials A.N. There was a notic...

Re: FOUND: Scooter found at Battersea Park.

We have lost our pink mini micro scooter - it has a strawberry bell and a green brake, and a name sticker with my daughter's name. We think we left it at the bankdstand but it could have been left last time we went to Battersea Zoo. Does the scooter you found fit this description?

Destination Schools for Eaton, Parkgate, Broomwood & Thomas'

Which of these prep schools have the best results on getting their pupils into amazing secondary schools? I've read that Broomwood (& sister school Northcote Lodge) have a very impressive destination school list that heavily features Eton, Marlborough and The London Oratory. However they seem to...

Salary for Nanny on Holiday

Hi All, We have a part-time Nanny who is wonderful, and we are planning on bringing her with us for a 3 night stay abroad this Summer. I'm not sure how to structure her pay for this ... she will not be working the entire time we're away, but we'll definitely need her for night duty on all 3 nights. ...
