I second the South Downs National Park (which is also a Dark Skies Reserve = low light pollution, good for astronomy/star-gazing/astrophotography). A little further away but still in the neighbourhood - Franco Manca have opened a branch in Balham, there's also one in Northcote Rd, Brixton and elsewhere. AWESOME pizza - completely unsolicited, I have no connection with them but they're just awesome.
