Re: My son's speech is not clear........help please

Thank you all for your responses. Jessknits thanks for the leapfrog recommendation. Speechandlanguage, the nursery is referring him to a speech therapist not an ENT specialist or audiologist. I will take him to the GP and take things from there. You have all given some very good advice, thanks. I re...

My son's speech is not clear........help please

Hi all. When my 3 year old son speaks, his words are not clear, almost like he is slurring his speech. He used to be able to enunciate properly but as his vocabulary got bigger, I recently noticed I cannot understand him sometimes. He is going to be referred to a speech therapist via nursery but the...

Re: Son bitten in nursery. Help!

Thank you all for your replies! Northcote Luvvie, your response is quite sane, thanks. :) Its quite a nasty bite and I suppose I was shocked when I saw it and yes the skin was breached and yes Hep B can be given after the bite as an immunoglobulin (antiserum). I googled children biting other childre...

Re: Fifty Shades of AWFUL!

I bought all three books. I was initially put off by negative reviews but decided to buy it to see what all the fuss was about. I liked the first one, the other two, not so much. It is a shame because I rushed to buy the last two because I wanted to know how it would all end. Yes, her writing style ...

Re: Help! baby wipes allergy

@annamike I know how you feel. I would have been very reassured to know others also react to the Pampers wipes as I had no idea what was causing the rash initially. I also find it a bit odd that it spares the bum. Oh well.... Thanks all for the DermaH20 wipes recommendation. It seems like the real d...

Re: Help! baby wipes allergy

I also agree with using water and a flannel cloth. The same thing happened to my son. My new nanny used the Pampers wipes on his face and he developed rashes. There are no problems when used on his bum though. However when he poops I wash his bum with water after cleaning him with wipes. We stopped ...

Re: Good breastfeeding bra's?

I have 2 Elle Macpherson ones and they are still going strong 11 months on!
They are great and have also given my boobs a lot of support. Cant recommend them highly enough.
If you need them for only 3 months you might want something else though.
