Re: Home and mobile hairdresser

Hi Mellissa has been doing my highlights and cutting my hair for about 4 years now, and I can't recommend her enough. It's the best colour I've had, and amazing value. As someone else has mentioned, she is great with kids and didn't bat an eyelid when my twins were running riot. I always look forwar...

Re: Are you happy with your highlights?

Hi I just had to second the recommendation for Mellissa Hammond as she is fantastic. I first started using her after reading rave reviews on this site about 4 years ago and haven't looked back! I absolutely love the colour that she does and she also does a fantastic cut. Mellissa is also a lovely gi...

Selling our flat - local solicitor?

Hi - we are about to put our flat on the market, but haven't yet appointed a solicitor. Can anyone recommend a local, affordable firm please? We are near Clapham Junction.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions! :)

Re: Are you happy with your highlights?

Hello - I am yet another very happy customer having given Mellissa Hammond a call thanks to all the great comments on this post. I hadn't been 100% happy with my last 2 salon visits, so got Mellissa around and she did a great colour, great cut and is great company! Amazing value :D

Top of the Class Nursery, East Sheen

Hello I posted on this site yesterday about nurseries in East Sheen. I have been doing some research and was looking at Top of the Class nursery, however I see that their recent Ofsted Report was 'inadequate'. Do any of you have your children at this nursery, and what are your thoughts please? Thank...

Re: Channel Crossing - ferry or Eurotunnel - ADVICE PLEASE

Hi - I am so happy to have found this post! I am going through the same debate myself. My parents are currently in Normandy and have invited me and my 2.5 year old twins to go out and join them for Easter. Unfortunately my husband won't be able to join me, and the thought of doing it on my own is te...

Re: How do I get rid of mummy tummy?

Hi I know this post was started a while ago, but I felt I had to add to it as I have just finished a 10 week course of Pilates thanks to a suggestion I read on this thread! I have 20 month old twins and hadn't done any exercise whatsoever since getting pregnant. With a holiday coming up I thought it...

LOST - soft Harrods dog toy

Hello I'm desperate! Have just come back from shopping on Battersea Rise/St John's Road and have realised that my son has lost his 'my first puppy' soft toy from Harrods :( (at the moment I am more devastated that him, but once he realises, I'm sure he'll join me!) I retraced my steps, but to no ava...

Re: Recommendations of nurseries nr N'cote Rd - 12mnth twins

Hi Sarah I have also been looking into nurseries recently for my twins and although they haven't started there yet, I would recommend Baby Room on Lavender Hill. I did some internet research and the feedback was all very good and it has a good Ofsted Report. I was impressed after going along to have...
