Re: Painters?

I used Dimitar following Maryd's recommendation in this thread and he did a fantastic job painting and doing the flooring of our house. He is really pleasant, reliable and comes at a reasonable rate. Also, very honest. Thanks Nappyvalleynet users! If anyone else wants to contact him- his number is 0...

Re: Bugaboo or Maclaren?

Bugaboo bee anyday! well worth the money! My son hasn't grown out of it in 3 years and it still works well. i use buses all the time with it but go to a store and see what all they have. it depends on what you like ultimately. I kept a Mclaren Velo as a spare and it broke down for no apparent reason...

Re: baby friendly holiday close to a Eurostar train station??

You can even take domestic trains for free within 24 hours from a eurostar destination to go to other cities (check their site for details). We used this option to go to Brussels and then take dutch railways within 24 hrs to go to Amsterdam. It was much better than flying with a toddler!

I have to admit one reason I want to cycle is because I want to be part of the friendly cycling community and the support from you guys just confirms my suspicion that cyclers are indeed very friendly! Thanks a ton. So the Trek 2010 now has two recommendations! I'll certainly check it out. Luciano's...

Re: A good cycle for women?

Thanks so much for the replies. I will check out the shops. I prefer local as well--especially thinking of fittings and later servicing... Which Trek bike do you think will be a good one to try? I saw they have a whole bunch. I read up on a hybrid and it seems good. Also, wondering if any particular...

A good cycle for women?

Heya All, I'm planning to buy myself a cycle. Previously i had a mountain bike which I found totally unwieldly. It actually put me off bicycling for years. I am now looking for something lightweight, durable, and suitable for a 5 feet 4 " woman. Any ideas from you avid bikers? What are some goo...
