Re: To 4X4 drivers in Wandsworth

Wow Supergirl, you had quite the Heidi childhood. I completely agree that other cars work just as well in the alps, I spent a lot of my childhood in the alps as well, and we didn't have a 4x4. I am just saying that even though I am not a huge fan of 4x4 and find the majority of them not used to thei...

Re: To 4X4 drivers in Wandsworth

I always find the NVN 4x4 debates great fun to read, from the Eco-warrior, to the chip on shoulder, to the 4x4 fan club! Before I got married I had never owned a car or driven a car in London, public transport was and where possible still is perfectly good for me and my family. The first car I drove...

Re: Good games for 5 years plus

My parents recently bought our daughter monopoly junior where you get to buy parties instead of streets, a huge hit! Also UNO is always a great hit for all ages.

Hope this helps

Re: Cleaner constantly on the phone

I think you have every right to be "narked". you are paying her to clean, not to chat on the phone. If you had a desk job and were constantly on the phone to your friends, I don't think you would keep the job for very long! Hey if she is that good at doing two things at once, just imagine ...

Re: Pea green" ready to roll" fondant icing

I get all my cake decorating stuff from the cake decorating company online. their customer service is amazing and even though i place the order 4pm and pay standard delivery, I usually get it the next day.

good luck!

Hairdresser Recommendations

Hi I have been getting my hair done at a local salon for a couple of years now, but at the beginning of the year my hairdresser gave me a bad haircut and when returning to explain what I wasn't happy with, it has must been made worse and worse. So I am on the hunt of somewhere new! Local salons are ...

Bad back - magic fingers needed!

Hi The continual lifting of my children has made my lower back rather sore(bad lifting technique I know)! It feels as though something just needs to click but I can't get it to do so by myself. I am very wary of letting just anyone play with my back, so am looking for a professional who will be able...

Re: HELP! Sudocream on carpet-any advice?!

My daughter did this as well as covering every inch of her cot, herself and the stairgate across her doorway. I had a massive sense of humour failure but found the best thing was a pack of wet wipes. Removed all the sudocreme. Now we have a clean carpet ready for her sibling to destroy and some bril...
