Re: Moving to Singapore

Hi We are planning a move to Singapore in April. I can't really advise at this stage as I don't know Singapore well enough, but we are also moving out there with a family and no car! We are planning on going to Singapore at the end of this year or January without the kids to research areas. Not sure...

Re: GP Clapham Common northside?

I have to say that I have been registered at both of the above GP practices. The Battersea Rise practice was the worst practice I have ever been registered with. The receptionists are downright unhelpful, surly and rude and trying to get an appointment (even for a very unwell 6month old) was virtual...

Re: Improving 4 year olds balance?

What about playball? My daughter and lots of her friends do playball and love it. The classes are held in various locations around Wandsworth and are about introducing children to physical activity. Classes are tailored to the child's age and include different skills such as balance and ball skills,...

Re: Great Value Ironing Service £20.00 For 40 Litres

I have used this service recently and can confirm it is great. Thought I would take the time to write this as I was really impressed. I texted to say I had a bag of ironing ready. It was collected within an hour and less than 24 hours later was returned to me impeccably ironed with much of it hung i...

Re: Recommendations for 3 yr old party venues please

Twiceasnice - thanks for your recommendation. I agree that for me the fairly small saving isn't worth it. I will check them out.

Will check out Eatplaylove too.

Thank you.

Re: Recommendations for 3 yr old party venues please

Thank you - I'll look into those. Good to compare lots of different types of venues.

I'd also be keen to hear about any venues that come ready prepared with food provided etc.

Thanks

Recommendations for 3 yr old party venues please

Hi I am looking for a venue somewhere in the Clapham/Wandsworth area to hold a birthday party for approx 15-20 three year olds. Preferably with some kind of entertainment/soft play options. The only place I've come across so far is The Little Gym in Smugglers way. Does anyone have any experience of ...

Re: Test results over the phone?

My husband had this recently and had to go in for results in person. It is definitely standard practice. Firstly if good results were always given over the phone then you would know there was a problem if you wete called in. So everyone has to discuss results in person. Thats what my husband was tol...

Re: Advice on Bumble Bee Nursery

My daughter started at Bumble Bee nursery this term. After only a week or two she was running in each morning and throwing her arms around her teacher. This week she is upset because it is half term and she can't go! All the staff there are wonderful, caring and really interested in all the children...

Re: Post partum arthritis

Hi. I had very bad arthritis pain after giving birth. It was so bad that I could hardly walk when I got up in the morning. After scans and blood tests it turned out that I was very deficient in vitamin D. I was prescribed vitamin D in liquid form and after a couple of weeks it had completely disappe...
