Help! - Vomit out of travertine/tumbled marble floor

Postby HW_Lucy » Mon Dec 23, 2013 12:57 pm

Hello all,

My son has just thrown up all over my travertine kitchen floor. Have cleared up - but the problem is that the floor is slightly porous (Not my choice! - installed by predecessors)

Have cleared it up - but the stench is unbearable - but we can't leave this room as I can't risk throwing up on the carpets. - It's definitely a particularly putrid about the bug he's got - which is impacting both ends!

Any ideas to reduce the smell??

Thanks,

Lucy

I think bicarbonate of soda is meant to get rid of the smell of sick - but not sure that's going to be any good on the kitchen floor.... unless you make into a paste, spread it over, leave for a few hours and then mop up...

Poor you...
