Hmmm not sure a policy where you ask someone to leave after child starts misbehaving would work. Imagine telling a mum that when her food has just arrived and her baby starts screaming!
Much more sensible to have child free policy. Except for not making that clearer, I can't understand the problem. So many other places to choose from! I'm going to take a note and visit there for my next lunch date without baby as love an adults only atmosphere when I'm baby free. For all you other mums who said the same I also recommend the prince of Wales pub in Richmond. Dogs and log fires but no buggies- bliss
Always amazed when people get annoyed when politely asked to leave as is pretty much the only place in Richmond that's not baby friendly- don't people without children have the right to a nice quiet lunch once in a while.
I appreciate not everyone has a buggy/ noisy children but it would be impossible to enforce a half half policy so I think fair enough. Tempted to send this thread to restaurant to show them that nappy valley net mums are quite happy about that policy actually !!!
