HELP
Would love to take my hubby away for a romantic spa break 1 night......... Trying for another baby. Please recommend some lovely not too expensive places. No more than 2 hours drive from London.

In the not too expensive bracket I'd say Nuffield priory near Reigate. It's an old country hotel with purpose built spa, gym etc. They do really good value spa breaks. I've been on 2 girls trips there and we have all had lovely treatments. It's not in the same style or price bracket as the likes of Cowley manor or babington house.

Also worth a look but more pricey is cowarth park - an hour away. Stunning new spa and gorgeous hotel. had a fab day there but have a feeling it is minimum 2 nights at the weekend. They do a very good day spa deal though.

Or the grove up near Watford ? Beautiful hotel and spa but not that cheap.
