The Devas Youth Theatre is for children aged 7-12 years old and runs on Monday and Wednesday nights at The Devas Club, Stormont Road (just off of Lavender Hill/Clapham Common North Side).
The Monday club runs from 4.00pm - 5.30pm and focuses on Musical Theatre - we are currently learning the songs and dances from Annie and The Sound of Music!
The Wednesday club runs from 5.00pm - 6.30pm and focuses on learning a variety of drama techniques from improvisation to physical theatre. Children can arrive anytime from 4.00pm on a Wednesday for normal youth club activities (games, cooking, fashion, movies etc)
Both clubs are fun and inclusive and no experience is necessary. Participants perform in at least one production a year, take their Arts Award Exams and are taken to a West End Musical and a smaller children's show each year for free! The sessions itself cost £1.00 on a pay as you go basis.
