Looking for 'messy play' sessions in SW London area

Postby Kerrij84 » Thu Feb 06, 2014 9:33 pm

Hello,

Does anyone know of anywhere local to Wandsworth that holds messy play sessions with porridge or foam, that kind of thing? I have a very tactile 8 month old boy and I think he would really enjoy this type of thing.

Thank you,
KJ

Hi there,
Please have a look at this website:
http://charlottas.wix.com/artnanny

We do art workshops for all aged children and have new groups starting in March! Hope you find this helpful and interesting :)

You may join the Thursday morning groups with children under the age of 1. The sessions will be adjusted to the ages attending.

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts.

Colourful messy art wishes,
Charlotta Sophia

West Hill Children's Centre near Southside runs one on a Thursday morning which was great - lots of water, sand, paints, play doh and various things with different textures. Well run and free! You may need to call them to make sure they still run these sessions as we haven't been for a while.

@LondonArtNanny thank you, this looks great. I am wondering if it is drop-off? I am still on Maternity Leave so would quite like to experience this together :)

@Lanme thank you for your reply. I double checked with the West Hill centre but unfortunately they stopped the sessions some time ago and no plans to continue in the near future.

Hi again,

The smaller artists on the Thursday morning sessions will need to be accompanied by a carer, in this case you. :)

The Sunday session for 4+ year olds is Drop Off, which doesn't mean that carers can't stick around, but you have the option of grabbing a Sunday morning coffee or stroll around on King's road for an hour, while we keep busy in the studio.

Shall I book you and your little one in for a trial session on our first session Thursday 6th of March? :) Please confirm via e-mail if you are interested:
